Chuck has extensive trial experience and history of trying approximately 75 jury trials to verdict, including insurance defense clients, national and regional motor carriers, commercial liability/premises liability and sporting accidents. Chuck has almost 40 years of practice experience as a litigation partner at the regional law firms Leitner WilliamsDooley & Napolitan, (1990-2015) and McAngus Goudelock & Courie (2015-2024).
In his spare time Chuck enjoys golf, snow-skiing, hiking and a 48 year passion of exploring, mapping & locating caves throughout the state of Tennessee. Due to its extensive and scenic limestone terrain Tennessee has over 11,000 caves - far more than any state in the union, with new caverns located each year. Chuck began cave exploring with like-minded individuals in the 1970s and has explored miles of cave passages and vertical pits/shafts hundreds of feet deep. He is a fellow of National Speleological society and a member of Nashville Grotto. If you have a question about Tennessee caves, Chuck has the answers!
